Horsley Club Site, near the North Downs is perfect for relaxing and walking.
Our tranquil Horsley Club campsite lies just north of the beautiful Surrey Hills, popular for the network of footpaths that criss-cross them, including the long distance North Downs Way.
Horsley is a peaceful campsite tucked away down the end of a quiet lane. Although large, with some 120 pitches, campers are able to sit back and relax here – either watching the abundant wildlife – foxes, deer, rabbits and ducks are all regular visitors - or casting a line into the picturesque Horsley Lake – the campsite’s centre piece.
The campsite has clean, modern facilities. There is a children’s play area, dog walk and a recreation room.
The Horsley Jubilee Trail, starting at Horsley station, is a nine-mile circular walk taking in woods, historic buildings, great panoramas and a well-earned refreshment stop at a traditional English pub. You can enjoy more views of the area from Newlands Corner, a popular beauty sport in the Surrey Hills, just south of the campsite.
For days out visit the National Trust’s Polsden Lacey, a stunning Edwardian Manor House near Dorking, RHS Garden Wisely the flagship garden of the Royal Horticultural Society, and its huge plant collection, Bocketts Park Farm near Leatherhead and the Brookland Museum - home to Concorde - in Weybridge. The theme parks Chessington World of Adventure, Legoland and Thorpe Park are all nearby.

The town has a story which stretches back over 5,500 years with Neolithic farmers, Saxons and Romans all having left their mark on this ancient landscape. The countryside around the town is studded with prehistoric sites including the Icknield Way that travels from East Anglia to Wessex. The name Princes Risborough relates to an important moment in medieval history when in 1343 Edward III appointed his eldest son, Edward the Black Prince, as custodian of the manor of Rysburg (at the time the town was called ‘Great Rysburg). The new title ‘Princes Rysburg’ was in recognition of its new status
before becoming Princes Risborough in the 1600s which is a Saxon reference to the brushcovered hills.

Church Farm Caravan & Camping Park is a campsite run by Stephen Judd & his wife Lee. We are situated in a village called Sixpenny Handley, which is in the heart of the Cranborne Chase, Dorset.
We are based on an arable farm, surrounded by glorious countryside and are located within just 300m of the village high street, where you will find a variety of shops. The Campsite is also very well placed for walking and cycling in the surrounding countryside.
As well as having our own onsite climbing frame and play equipment to keep little campers entertained, there is also a large recreation ground close by, with a skateboard ramp and play area.
Church Farm is an ideal site for those wishing to tour the local area due to its close proximity to the historic City of Salisbury and the market towns of Blandford Forum, Wimborne Minster, Shaftesbury and Ringwood.
You can easily visit some of the areas most famous landmarks like Stonehenge, Salisbury Cathedral, Gold Hill and Wimborne Minster.
If beaches are your thing, Poole, Bournemouth and Southampton are only a 45 minute drive away.

Cae Clyd, Caernarfon Bay campsite and touring park can be found along the North Wales Coast. We have LOG PODS and camping and caravan pitches just outside Pontllyfni between Caernarfon and Pwllheli. You can stroll down to the beach before breakfast or enjoy the glorious sunsets in the evening - perfect for de-stressing. Breathe in the sea air and experience the vast array of wild birds or participate in off-shore fishing. A perfect site for all ages.
Situated in a spacious field the site allows plenty of breathing space for each pitch. Children are warmly welcome as are well behaved pets. But we do ask that dogs are kept on a lead at all times.
The facilities block is equipped with toilets and showers. We have hook up points as well as a dishwashing area in the camp kitchen with a fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer(small charge applied for washer and dryer). We have plenty of fresh water as well as a chemical disposal point.

The Peak District National Park is right on the doorstep of our Alton, The Star Club Site. If you are looking for Alton Towers camping, this attractive, well maintained family-friendly site is perfectly placed, being just a mile from the theme park.
Carsington Water and Visitor Centre, north east of the campsite, offers a wide range of activities for all the family on and off the water including miles of footpaths and bridleways to explore, a children’s play area, fishing and many water sports.
While Stoke-on-Trent may not be an obvious tourist destination you can see the Anglo-Saxon treasures of the Staffordshire Hoard at The Potteries Museum and Art Gallery here. There’s also the Wedgewood Visitor Centre full of artefacts, some dating back to Josiah Wedgewood – the man who started the pottery industry as we know it today.

Wherever I am working I try to capture subjects in new ways, often working on new techniques in order to produce a unique image. Paul Hill - Bear Essentials
Paul and Julia Hill have lived in Cheshire since 1990. They are both keen naturalists and have travelled throughout the UK and beyond photographing birds and other wildlife. Paul is a Principal Ecologist working four days a week for one of the UK's largest consultancies.
In May 2019, Paul visited Finland, close to the border with Russia, where he spent five days photographing Brown Bears and other wildlife in Taiga. He has since returned four times.

In this talk I show a range of 'People Pictures'. The images will cover candid's, photojournalism, as well as studio and available light portraits. I explain, as well as giving examples, why some subjects can work in colour, while others can be considerably improved by converting to monochrome.
I show some of the best places in the UK to go for 'people pictures': Speakers Corner, Brick Lane, Tate Modern, Blist Hill Victorian Village, The Black Country Museum, The Beamish Museum, 1940's weekends, Tough Guy event, and the Victory Show.
